Yeah its not Aaron Lines but cmon...Blues Brothers are way better.
Frankie you cant call me that anymore. Im pushing third year now. And I still know as much as the first day I worked in the trade! HAHA!
I remember that day...ductless split install at a house outside Fredericton. And the whole time the journeyman bugging me making the trade out to be worse than it actually is.
Moon got some bad news. I was at a JTAC meeting (joint training committee between UA 787 and ORAC {Ontario Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors}). Now you have to apply for the spots through that HVAC Careers website. The reason being is they wanted to cut down on favouritism and "dead weight" apprentices. It was also put in place so guys who aren't legacy mechanics like myself can get into the trade (really though, I have a great job now and only have myself to thank for that so it seems pointless to me because legacy or not, if you can't do the job you won't last in the field). SO keep applying. I see you got a good lead. I would just recommend the Union because its the ICI side of the trade (which is where the money and the learning is at). As well the Union has night school and weekend classes to get you training beyond what you need. In that sense its great for an apprentice as they really teach you and help out a lot that way.
Get money, get paid.
BATHROOM IS DONE!!
THAT IS ALL!

Art You have RTU Install today?
'Morning Bret and everyone. Lookin' good, JP! I second the "not while in use part"
Yikes.. On a good note, it's money and things will slow down a bit soon.
Thanks for the heads up. Ray. If everything pans out, even though it's non-union, the place looks really good. 100% ICI (focus on the institutional part), latest toys and have to recruit the same caliber of mechanics as any union shop. That's why I'm pretty optimistic about the mentoring I'd receive over there even though I'd be missing out on union training. Bonus points: Regardless of the state of the economy, they'll have lots of tax dollars pissed their way, so they won't be starving for work
hey bert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
