Doing well from all I've heard. They're saying that biggest problem is that his immunity is very low, so he can't be exposed to anything. I guess, if you saw him, you wouldn't know that he was sick. Typical 7 year old bouncing off of the walls.
Immune system being down is always a big concern. But sounds like he doing well

Can I vent??? I need to blow a little steam off, here.

Been dealing with family problems for a while, now.

My nephew, aged 21, is a... well, for lack of a better word, he's a spoiled, rotten little brat. I'd very much like to plant a steel-toe squarely up his

Now, I do feel for the kid, to a point, he lost his mother about 12 years ago. Problem is, he's been coddled and babied about it ever since. Never really been made to face it.

Now, he's married (TOO YOUNG!) and I found out that he was hitting and cheating on his young bride after less than a year. I called him and bawled him out for a while. Told him exactly what I thought of what he'd done and what I'd LIKE to do to HIM, but that I wouldn't because I was a REAL man. Then, in the same conversation, I gave him some "big brother" type advice. Things that I've done and learned on how to live within a marriage. Thought that I'd done the right thing.

A short time later, he was having some 'mental' issues. Spent a few days in lock-up, I guess, for either threatening to or attempting suicide. Now, I have VERY strong feelings on that particular act and was afraid that I wasn't just couldn't be nice about it, so I steered clear for a bit.

I've recently reached out to him. Invited them both into our home so that we could talk and so that he could have a male role-model of sorts to look up to. After accepting an invitation to visit over thanksgiving, he spent the weekend lying to me about why they didn't come.

Comes down to this: Kid was laid off from his job and didn't have money for gas. LORD, don't I understand that tale!!! Thankfully, in almost 18 years in the trade, I've not yet been laid off, but I've been out of work due to injury.

I can understand, being a man and being embarrassed about being broke.

tell the little fu%&^$ this story of a beautiful young girl that hits her head at bachlerette party and is paralyzed!

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._n_908942.html

one year later her fiance marries her even though she is paralyzed and not nearly as pretty as she was!!!!!!

    that is love!

if you love a woman that much you would never think of cheating on her or hitting her!!!

    they really are cool!

if you have heavy stuff over 100# put 2 of them together! on 2 pieces of strut!

they make external brackets and you can put a trolley on and run thousands of feet of strut with a trolley!!!!!!

    it is amazing!

'Morning Bret and everyone. JP, your nephew's at an age where he's either gonna get it on his own or not. Doesn't hurt talking to him without babying so he knows that somebody really gives a $%#! and doesn't just coddle him.
