you get $80 a day for weekend or holiday so $160-240 and time and a half really adds up for the year.

Ok, here's the deal.
I get my 2011 vacation days starting in January. February is pretty slow for us, so I can take some time off. Your boss will be planning his year, and in my mind, that would be the perfect time for me to come out and meet him. I'm already known as the OT junkie here, so I can take some of that on call off your hands.
Whaddaya say, Frankieee? I can taste that smoked tenderloin sandwich now......

That reminds me of a conversation I had when I was flying.
My friend Tom and I had to (yeah, I know) spend a week in Saint Marten while a passenger was on one of the nearby islands It was less expensive to have us there than what it costs in fuel and engine time to bring the jet home and then go back.
Our Hotel was up on the hill where you can look out and see the approach to the Princess Julianna Airport. One of the interesting things there was the fact that the Jumbo's have to use all of the available runway to get off the island. They would turn as close as possible to the end of the runway to power up the engines to takeoff power, and people (usually teens) would step into the exhaust stream to be blown over where the road separates the runway from the beach.
The most Jumbo's were run by Air France, and as we watched this on one particular day, I said the I bet its fun for that pilot to spool up four big engines and then let off the brakes for the short takeoff run.
Tom turned to me and in his thick accent, said "Aaaart, you don't want to be on that airplane."
I asked why.
He said "because none of the people on that airplane like to bathe, and the planes always smell like BO and garbage."
Here is what the landings look like. I believe this is an Airbus.

This pic (from Flight Simulator) shows how close the beach and the road are to the airport.

Reminds me of the new Jackass movie where they get a jet and a guy in a flying suit to try and take off in the exhaust lol.
