Well not so good news on this front. Got some new test scores.

    75% on water cooled.
    74% on compressors.
66% on meters and basic circuitry.

Have another test tomorrow on meters and circuitry. It was really the control questions that messed me up. I forgot that when a normally closed control is energized it opens. And vice versa. Even though 60% is a pass mark at my school, 70% is what the Gov't requires you to get on the block exam before you can work as an apprentice. Therefore personally I consider anything under 70% a fail.

What got me on the compressor section was I missed a day when they went over how to size belts on an open drive systems. And how to size a pulley to change RPM's. I got the formula from a classmate but drew a blank on test day. Had another question where I had to turn a suction pressure from Hg Vac to PSIA and remembered to divide...but forgot that it's by 2.036.

Something tells me this weekend will be good for studying until I can't read anymore.

Break your study up into periods. Allow time for standing and walking in between, maybe some light cardio.

Your aim is to integrate this info into your mind for the long term, at least long enough to take tests. If you cram, you won't retain it long enough to use it.
