I love my job, even when it gets frustating.
No major problems. I'm afraid to talk about my breaker problems from last week. Any service guy will know why....

yes
8.33 pounds per gallon x 60 minutes=500
one pound of water equals one btu. specific heat of water is 1
it would be different with glycol
so it is about 2.5 gpm per ton on the evaporator
3gpm per ton for the condenser..... due to heat of rejection compressor
providing that you have a 10 degree delta t
btu = gpm x 500 x delta t
example only!!!!
gpm 2.5 x 500 x 10 =12,500 btus

Tomorrow is water cooled condensers and cooling towers *ack*
Trying for two in a row but don't know if i'll pull it.
Whats the formula? tonnage*1.25 for what the condenser has to reject? That divided by 500(US gallons)*TD?

Me too, but last week I cut out the nightly ice cream, so I should be better by spring.
