Have been out for a while last happy for Ralph getting the big promotion but but miss having him in the store.
hope to be here for quit a long time but have to learn to see life as short. July 16 2013 will be 5 year from diagnosis.
was 1 year 3 year and 5 year was definitely a long rang and questionable goal. Next long term birthday goal is 55.

Glad to hear that, there are a lot of things that you need to pass on to your son, not just your tools when you no longer here, the knowledge you have can only be passed on through having him by your side and experiencing it in person, you have to be there for that.
Keep strong, have faith and know that your life is in God's hands and that you are not going to go until it is your time and he calls you home, be ready for that.RSES Member.

Afternoon Bret & all. Well it's Friday and same old same old around here. Been making our own moonshine around here and I had a taste of it after I watered it down last night. Not bad, not bad at all. It comes out after mixing water to be 80 proof. Yep making your own has got to be the most rewarding feeling because #1...it's homemade...#2...it's easy....#3...I don't have to leave the farm to go to the ant pile to buy booze ! Life is grand today. Bret and everyone have a safe and wonderful week-end and those in the cold weather stay warm and those that have rain send some down our way, we sure could use a few drops. Hell I'll take a flood !!!

I'll have to get into that as it's a family tradition. My dad comes from a town where pretty much every house has a still and it's a centuries old tradition. They usually keep it in the 100-120 range and let the aging mellow it out a bit. Sljivovica from those parts is pretty much the only hard liquor I drink (don't drink much) and I bring a few quarts back whenever I visit the old country.
