I was almost singing soprano. Hurt so bad I thought I was going to die. Felt like that for a few days after that too.

    Doug,

    The mule looks great.....

    Pants are too expensive.

I would like some sort of mirror.

My neck does not turn around so well anymore!!!

Sunny and +4 degC up the mountain.....dry, sticky roots, rocks and skinnies......Man it was a great ride....
He11, that's the only 'swelling' I get these days is the prostrate after the ride....you gotta use a chamois in the shorts guys......I was on the bike for 4 hours today.....rode these for the first time and they're sweeeeet....nice pad and comfortable but too thin for the winter... http://www.goreapparel.com/gore-bike...pe-bibs-shorts

Frank, get a camelbak for the ride, the mule is a great one.... http://www.jensonusa.com/Camelbak-MU...tion-Pack-2012 ....and use a high electrolytes tablet like the NUUN... http://www.jensonusa.com/Nuun-Active...ion-Box8-Tubes ..DO NOT USE a high fructose/glucose/corn syrup mix....it'll kill you....

I know a guy who put a little mirror on a paperclip and attached it to the glasses he wore.

    He said it worked great.
