JP, I think most people think full auto ownership is not possible because of the government's alien-style probing and the license fee, not to mention the cost of the weapon alone. It puts them out of the reach of everyone but the most devoted citizen.

As I said, I've considered it, and it is financially out of my reach at this time, even for the "bargain" guns at $5-6k

Not to mention the costs of ammunition that Moonrunner mentioned. That stuff is CRAZY expensive anymore, and reloading components don't really make it a whole lot cheaper, honestly.

    Hmmmmmmm............ interesting.
discussion about guns. saw 'tommy gun' mentioned.
I had 1. Do not, repeat, DO NOT buy a Kahr Arms M1 Thompson sporting rifle. They are a genuine POS. Mine spent more time at Kahr than in my locker.

    Good morning, Bret and everyone!

Even though I'm on vacation, I got a text yesterday asking if I could take a no AC today in a mall store. This AM, I find I now have two calls.

I was getting bored anyway. So, I'll have some windshield time and listen to the radio.

2sac: this is basically a thread where we let Bret know that we are pulling for him, and for each other. Welcome.

Been working on a gun case for 2 years and need to finish it .....someday ! Have all kinds of projects to get to. Most of our furniture was built by our own two hands, like china hutch and end tables plus our headboard for our bed. We also have made lots of bowls in the past. The grand kids will love working in there once they are on the farm. Excuse the mess of our wood shop but it'll be cleaned sooner or later ...lol

Presents unwrapped and they're building Legos now.

A trip to the range a bit later to break in a young man's new shotgun later.

    Trip to grandma's this evening.
