Like a doctors visit.

Mourning all ! Bret that's a nice bowl you and Andy made ! We have full blown wood shop with my fav being the delta uni-saw ! It rocks !! Been working on a gun case for 2 years and need to finish it .....someday ! Have all kinds of projects to get to. Most of our furniture was built by our own two hands, like china hutch and end tables plus our headboard for our bed. We also have made lots of bowls in the past. The grand kids will love working in there once they are on the farm. Excuse the mess of our wood shop but it'll be cleaned sooner or later ...lol

that planer sure makes sanding easier but we need to make projects with all the wood we have in stock. Mostly red oak & maple but we do love the exotic woods too. My favorite is puduck.. I think thats how it is spelled. We have a coffee table made of solid puduck wood.

Ever hear of pragmatic martial arts? I think it's somewhere in that area.

My grandpa was a banker/master woodworker. He finally went full blown wood worker and got struck with Lou gerrigs disease. In the last months of his life he could walk we spun a baseball bat together out of a birch pole in from a wood pile. I never made it back to Finnish before he died. I took it off the Lathe and still keep it not finished. Not sure if there's a moral to my story but all of this wood working talk reminds me of him, I think I feel guilt because I didn't want to go to his house when he was really sick because I couldn't understand him from him being so weak.
