Reading about those of you that have children and how you are a part of their lives, makes me smile to see that so many of you realize the greatest assets you have, I have 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls. my two oldest are married, my son bought the house next door to us and my daughter and her husband only live about 1 mile away, when I had my business in PA my sons wanted to always go out with me on the calls, my daughter even worked in the office till we moved to NC. We go on vacations to the coast every year as a family, get together on Sundays and sometimes more often during the week.
My greatest assets are my children and I could not imaging life without them, the older married and single ones are now my best friends as well and they speak into my life and help me to become a better person, by talking to me about my shortcomings without being condemning.
Thank you, all of you who have shared your stories about how you are raising your children, you too are an inspiration to me to continue being an influence in my children's lives.RSES Member.

Y'know for 40 years women have been on an odyssey to establish better grounds for themselves to be fulfilled and take advantage of the many things apparently men had been only the ones to be offered and enjoyed. We have helped many of them embark and travel this journey but the unkind reality is that they are now dying earlier and suffering problems along with us associated with stress and 'trying to be all things to all people, all the time'.
Bottom line here is men struggle like hell day in and day out, as did my Dad silently, courageously and in absolute loneliness, to find 'balance' in being a good father, husband, breadwinner, coach, mentor, psychologist, example etc. The problem is this guys knows only about .00001% of the time whether I'm 'doing it right' as although I am not complaining, I am not 'measuring up well' most the time......until I read of the exploits, experience, strength and hope of others.......
Thank you men....for that......cause I sure as he11 never said it enough to my Dad......who gave me a very full tool box for the mechanics of all this......but still have a very clumsy time with the 'comfort' part of....that my girls help me with as Sparky alluded to...."The quality you deserve is not expensive---it's priceless"

So, we HAVE to post a picture of Holly....every now and then.....it's like reminding us all of where 'perfection' is....y'know wut i'm saying...?"The quality you deserve is not expensive---it's priceless"
