And a beautiful pew it is.

My dad used to get a magazine called Beautiful British Columbia. Nat Geo type of pictures. Just amazing. When I was flying, I was in Calgary in the winter. Never made it over the mountains to BC.

Just got the good news (one of my classmates called me with his results so I called the school back) - It's a pass, and a pretty nice one at that but don't wanna brag too much

Surgery for me was Jan 28/99. Being a semi-colon is one thing (and all that goes with it) but the worst thing is the chemo brain. Often people lose memory and that has affected me somewhat. I can forget my anniversary and have a good excuse LOL. I still don't have the energy I had pre cancer but everyone is different.

I had never heard of "chemo brain" until Julie started treatment.

Her final 24 hours of consciousness were pretty unnerving. I have learned a great deal that I never wanted to learn.

It is not something I would wish on anyone. Nearly drove my mum nuts and it is not a pretty thing to watch, especially, like me, they didn't catch it till it was stage 3 and I was under 100lbs.

But, you are partly measured by how you help those in need and I would bet that presence with Julie was was worth way more than you will ever know.

Thank you for the congratulations, gentlemen. From personal experience with a family member, I know that chemo brain or not, they know when you're there for them. I'm sure, Julie's looking down with love and appreciation.

I still feel I should have dragged her to the scope doc sooner. Being that she was a nurse, I trusted her judgment, maybe a little too much.

He primary care guy dismissed her bleeding as being from her diverticulitis.

That was the big mistake.
