    Florida Home info -

Anyone know anything about Florida Home's operation? Specifically the Jacksonville branch. A buddy of mine works there and I am getting close to talking to them.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't really know we had one here. I am working in St. Aug., like my employer, but he is really struggling and I am almost basically broke. A guy I know is working at FH and he likes it. Good earnig potential there. What do you know about OneHour?

    Interested.

    No sir. I didn't.

Are you affiliated with them? As I understand it, they are a franchise that is moving into different areas and buying smaller shops.........?

    Yes, I'm affiliated with them.

The franchise does not buy smaller shops, owners who own a franchise might buy smaller shops in the area, but that has little to do with anything.

Companies are bought and sold everyday.

Ah, my understanding was not based on knowledge, but an assumption. We know what happens when you ass........

Anyway, congrats on the affilliation. In the past week I have been working in a larger city in my area and have noticed their trucks here.

I respect your insight on past posts in the tools and in the tech. areas. I would gladly consider employement there.

I know co.'s are bought and sold every day. I always laugh at the Trane/Am Stand shuffle. But I guess accountants and financial types figure out how to make $$ on those reorganizations just like we figure out how to make $$ on a broken condenser. Didn't mean it like a bad thing. I wish my old boss would consider selling to bring some life to his shop.

I took the FL Homes job as he was inches from laying me off.
