    4ton Rheem HP system

I'm looking at having a 4ton Rheem HP system installed in my home.

Can I get some thoughts on these HP/AH combo's:

    RPQL-048JAZ RHLL-HM4821+RCSL-H*4821A 45500 13.00 15.00 45500 9.00
    RPQL-048JAZ RHLL-HM4824+RCSL-H*4824A 46500 13.00 15.00 45500 9.00

    RPQL-048JEZ RHLL-HM4821+RCSL-H*4821A 45500 13.00 15.00 45500 9.00
    RPQL-048JEZ RHLL-HM4824+RCSL-H*4824A 46500 13.00 15.00 45500 9.00

    Thanks for the help!

Mechanically the heat pumps are the same. The 24" air handler appears to give 1,000 BTUs more cooling. They qualify for the tax credit.

The JEZ has a nice diagnostics board which will flash a code on a thermostat with fault light if it detects a problem. An LED digit on the board tells the tech what's going on. It also has a compressor cover which lowers sound level to 74 db on a 4 ton. Not the quietest out there but by no means noisy. Also the JEZ has a 5 year unit replacement plan if the comp dies. Both models have demand defrost to eliminate hundreds of unnecessary defrosts each winter in a cold climate.

Thanks so much for the reply.

What I'm hearing from the contractor in the last few minutes is that the RPQL is not available as of yet. His supplier is saying 6 to 8 weeks. I'd be interested in knowing whether that is accurate, if anyone knows?

    Thanks again!

    Thanks for the info!
Not knowing the price and the delay, will probably take me out of the market for a Rheem.
