    Diet food.

Wife and I decided to change our diets. Eat more fruits and vegetables, and much less processed foods. Kinda boring food even tho it's working. Grocery bills are WAY down, and so is our weight, both losing about 11 lbs. For lunch every day since X-mas I've had salad. Here is what it has become. I dont like lettuce, except on sammiches. Kicked it right out.

Chopped up cucumber, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cherry tomatoes, cheese. Put on some salt, pepper, malt vinegar and maybe a dash of light olive oil. Pretty boring to do every day. Now I put a couple huge spoons of my homemade chili on top and some hot sauce. Dang! Like a taco salad, but mostly veggies. Very tasty and filling and I can stand this every day easy. Thought I'd share. Waaay easier to work off than a Big Mac.
My doctor gave me six months to live, but when I couldn't pay the bill he gave me six months more.

Yea, hot foods make me happy.

Found these at Wal Marts. Soon as I make the weight I'm shootin for I'm gettin some. Oh, and I agree, hot sauce is BEST on eggs! My best breakfast is fry 2 eggs easy over, drop um in a bowl of green chili, add hash browns then stir it up, add more bottled heat if needed. Top with cheese and grab a tortilla.

    Spotts ! you tha man!!

The War Department and I are on some kind of diet each day. 2 years ago I quit drinking beer. I still have a few every now and then but not like before. We have lost a total of 30 pounds but when summer comes we'll lose more.
I'm also one to love spicy. The hotter the better. Last night hubby made peanut butter on toast with canned jalopeno's and banana on the side. I've tried them and they sound bad but are good.. I buy hot sauce by the gallons around here.

darn buddy that sounds tasty, We should go hot it up some night.
I grow some hot hot peppers. One variety is the caribbean red habanero.
a regular habanero is 260,000 scovilles of heat but the caribbean red is 445,000
    scovilles.
I dehydrate them and use em in a pepper grinder.

Hananero's have got the best flavor of any pepper. Very distinctive, smoky taste. And pretty frickin hot.

    excellent fruity flavor
I chopped them with onions and garlic and covered the top of some chimichongas
nice little burn and very tasty
saved the seeds and will plant them soon
my habaneros should be ready mid summer
I will get some over to ya when I harvest.

I eat REALLY hot stuff when I'm drunk. Wake up and feel like I'm in Mexico and have a touch of the Montezuma's revenge. I've done this a few times, thinkin, oh this is gonna suck, I'm gonna be sick. Sit down on the toilet and Immediately remember the hot assed food I ate the night before!!!!

I should keep a roll of Charmin in the freezer.

hot and sweet peppers have to be grown seperatly
or else they cross pollinate and the sweet get a little hot
I use to pick flowers from the hot and pollinate the bell peppers to make
them a little hot just to play jokes on friends.
This year I am going to try to use the hot pepper flowers on maters.
They are basically the same family so I wonder if it will make the maters hot.
Man what jokes I could play if it works.
Will let y'all know how it turns out

Be careful with Dieting, just because one is losing weight doesn't mean it's necessarily body fat. Fibrous Veggies are great for you to make you feel full without taking on any calories.

Every person has a basic amount of calories they require [BMR] or else that person will not only lose fat but muscle as well.

Try to include protein with every meal. 100-200g of protein a day for a 200 pound person is enough to feed the muscle. If the muscle isn't fed properly it will cannibalize.

    Good Luck.
