yes thats what the customer wantss crazzy huh to control secondary heat and or heatpump

every single heat-pump thermostat has a manual control for aux. heat. Thats what makes it a hp tstat, otherwise it would be just a straitcool tstat.
Not all heat pumps have emergency heat, let alone aux heat.
There are several thermostats that are listed for heat pumps, that have no aux/emergency heat.
And those stats do not have an emergency heat provision.
Some years ago.
When I work at one company.
We had a rash of calls from people. Not enough heat.
Turned out, the one installer decided to save the company money. And used stats that had no aux heat.
The Honeywell TH6110 is a conventional or heat pump thermostat.
but has no aux or emergency heat provision.
Same with several other models of Honeywell and other brands of thermostats.
