    Thumbs down It was working

Duct was not connected to electronic filter cabinet. Like the new style electronic filter?

Insulation pulled out of the cabinet. Look at the mold!

Picture snapped right before the internal relief went off in the scroll.

    System specifications:
    3 year old Carrier
    38YCC048 matched to FA4ANF060
    7/8" x 5/16" line set [50']
400+ psig after stone cold start and 2 minutes of operation.[heat mode]
[6] 6 x 14 return grills pulled through wall cavities
Maximum test static .67" wc. Actual static .78" wc. and pulsating
    Aluminum wire [no disconnect]
15 kW strip heater [only 10 kW connected]
Condenser "pigtail" not connected [insulation of wiring rubbing cabinet]
    Duct not sealed
    The list goes on

Where does this stop? This was done by one of the largest contractors in the area. Bigger is better, Right!?

Need a better picture, but a great installation to point HO's to when they want to know which brand is best/most dependable.

Was this new constuction or a changeout?I'd send the photo and the HO to Carrier Corp. from some help,or fix it and send them to their lawyer!!

    Dash,

This was a change out...and a pitiful one at that!! I used to work for this company and this really disturbed me. Pardon my French, but their quality went to Sh1t! They use to do some of the best work around, but greed took over!

Gee, maybe we could talk someone we don't like into trying that...

Wonder what the unit would look like after it stopped?
