Around here london broil is just a cut of beef. This is the best definition of a london broil that I could fine on the net.

To marinate the meat I just put it in a little lemon juice (about 1/16 th of a inch in a pan). Sprinkle it with a little Adolf meat tenderizer and poke it a bunch of times with a fork. Flip it over a couple of times in a 12-24 hour period.
Then in the morning just grille or broil the meat until it is done to your liking. Then I slice it thin against the grain and serve it up with eggs to order and homefries.
With some of your great Colorado beef .......Oh wow!!!

Tenderize and marinate 12-24 hours. I use terryakie, garlic, oregano and a splash of cider vinegar and worchester. Sprinkle with coarse salt befor searing on both sides cook to desired temp. I usually take them off as 125-130 and let them rest to 140 (m/r ). Enjoy Jack

I'm not against using spices by any means. But when I am cooking meat for breakfast I try not to make it too overly spiced. Eggs are a delicate taste so they could get over powered by the meat.
