Bryant Preferred numbers needed
I have a bid right now for a Bryant unit:
Preferred Series 14 seer 2.5 ton heat pump with standard indorr fan coil, or with a variable speed coil for an extra cost.
The individual gave me the number 264 for the heat pump but nothing for the air handler. I am trying to find the following numbers:
Seer rating
EER
HSPF
BTU H
BTU C
COP
Thanks for any help on this I have looked everywhere and can not find these numbers onthe Bryant unit. I have found all the numbers I needed on the York and Trane units, but no the Bryant.
Trying to compare what each has to offer.
** This site has been a great source of understanding for me, Thank yo uso much for making myself much more educated for this pruchase decision.**
After I get all my bids and narrow it down to the three best companies and prducts offered, I will post to you my findings and see what your opinions are at that time.

That be one one of two air handlers from Bryant, so you need the air handler model number to provide that information. Likely FX4CNF030 or FY4ANF030. With the Preferred Series outdoor unit, I suggest going with the variable speed Preferred indoor unit. The Preferred 15 with variable speed indoor unit will give you the best performance specs over the 223A and 264A, so that's my recommendation.
(1) 264ANA030/FX4CNF030 = 11.7 EER, 14 SEER, 8.6 HSPF
(2) 265ANA030/FV4BNF005 = 13.5 EER, 16 SEER, 8.5 HSPF
(3) 265ANH030/FV4BNF005 (this is the high HSPF heat pump model) = 13 EER, 16 SEER, 9.2 HSPF -- beneficial for the cold Chicago climate
Both (2) and (3) would qualify you for the $1500 tax credit under the new stimulus plan; talk to your dealer about this.
Feel free to posts details on all quotes for more thoughts.

Consider the 265ANA and FV4 variable speed handler with preferred humidistat with outdoor sensor.
