My girlfriend and I have been working on this for awhile,
Think its done now as everyone that has eaten them raves about them.
3) 14.5 OZ CANS CHICKEN BROTH
1 ½) CUPS REGULAR GRITS
½) CUP MILK
1) STICK BUTTER
2) CUPS SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE
2) CUPS PEPPERJACK CHEESE
1) POUND COOKED BACON (CRUMBLED)
1) POUND HOT SPICY SAUSAGE (COOKED)
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
BRING CHICKEN BROTH TO A BOIL AND ADD GRITS. REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER
TILL DONE (ABOUT 6 TO 8 MINUTES)
REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE.
MIX IN BUTTER AND MOST OF CHEESE. STIR UNTIL MELTED.
ADD MILK AND BACON AND SAUSAGE AND STIR UNTIL MIXED.
POUR INTO GREASED CASSEROLE DISH AND SPRINKLE THE REST OF THE CHEESE ON TOP.
BAKE AT 350 UNTIL SET (ABOUT 25 TO 30 MINUTES)
