    Trane xl950

Customer says trane xl950 thermostat keeps heating past set point or is at set point and still heating..tested myself didn't happen for me during the service call. Anyone know if this is a programming issue or tstat problem? Thanks.

How far. Mine goes up to 1° over sometimes. It has built in logic that will tell it how long to run to maintain temperature more consistently.

You can set the "control response rate" to fast, this will help maintain a tighter temperature.
You can increase the cycle rate to estimate shorter run times per hour.
You can relocate the thermostat or install a remote sensor if the location is causing the issue.
