    Flame-free valve connections?

Just out of curiosity... I know you can use fittings but why not have valves ready to install? Can you order TXV's or driers or valves of any kind with crimp style flame-free connectors?

If so, where and if not why not?

We do currently have valves and Catch-All filter driers that are ZoomLock ready. More options will become available as more people adopt the new flame-free technology. You can view our latest ZoomLock Catalog K-1 here.

For those of you that will be attending the AHR Expo in Chicago Jan 22-24 will be having the ZoomLock Roadshow at the Parker Sporlan Booth 4936 with live demos and pressure tests.

Thanks for the reply. I seem to be seeing more valves being burned up due to bad soldering techniques than ever before. Retraining should ensue but my main concern now is...

Open flame near combustibles raising insurance rates and safety concerns
System leaks from weak backside solder coverage
City/County ordinances and/or GC's requiring "burn" permits. A tech must possess this permit to use a torch or be fined.

I had not seen your available valve and drier products and I don't believe it is in the link you provided. I will have my warehouse provider start to work on a distribution price list.

Thank you and for what you do for HTalk.

How about just compression fitting valves? I know you still need to do some brazing but at least not directly on the valve....

how does zoom-lock work in residential condensers where the condenser may be moved, save by an errant landscaper, lawnmower or ice falling event?

will they leak if they are shifted?
