York RTU odor and found wet insulation

Company installed a 5 and a 4 ton York . Been in since June. I was asked to check odor. Not a burn smell, not incomplete combustion smell, I recognized the odor. I pulled side discharge cover and found one unit had insulation touching heat exchanger-corrected. Checked gas pressure 3.5-3.5 ok. Then noticed drip. Both units interior insulation above heat exchanger wet. That was odor! Wet insulation. No water on top of units. We have had many units like this ,no water. Asked tech support if any reported issues, told to investigate. I am going back to check combustion. Perform air flow calculation per York dry coil pressure differential. Need to take temp diff on heat xch. Just ran out of time today. Any ideas?
