I feel very fortunate that I enjoy going to work every day (these days that I have a job at all). I am constantly rewarded when I find and solve problems. I can't remember the last time I watched the clock wondering when quitting time would come. I also am employed in a profession which offers me the flexability of going anywhere in the industrialized world and finding a decently paying job. As others have mentioned the politicking, scapegoating and blameshifting can be a bit of a buzzkill at times.

Love my career. Love my job.

    I'd still rather be golfing.
Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.

The job is what you make it. I love it. In any profession there are headaches, but in HVAC you can at least escape the headaches by focusing on a piece of @#$@# equipment that will not do what it's suppose to do. I'll take this any day to not have to listen to everything some jerk in the next office cubical wants to moan and groan about all day, everyday.

Stay focused on the things you can do. Not on what you wish was being done.

I really like my job, currently work for a small HVAC, Electrical & Plumbimg company. Everyone likes each other and we have a lot of fun.

And I like going out and working on something different each day.

most of us were just to dam lazy to go or stick with college and chose this field because of the money making potential, advancemet opportunities, or leading to having your own company.
I like my job though, now that i found a real good company, with a bunch of hours.
I will take a bullet for my Veto LC tool bag!
