    like my job

I do enjoy what I do for a living, mostly. There are days, customers, poorly maintained equipment, and non-qualified maintenance personnel, to mention a few, that make my job more challenging but overall I enjoy my work.

If any beginner-level techs from California want to say "no," please e-mail me with your company's contact information so I can apply with them.

    I like it.

Unlike radio, I'm actually accomplishing something besides playing "stairway to heaven" for the 15 millionth time.

Unlike flying, I know what time I will get out of bed, and where that bed will be located.

I get plenty of fresh air and exercise, and I'm not sitting all day.

I am constantly challenged by poor installations, undermaintained equipment, and antiquated models.

And, I never have to ask someone to spend their own money. It's their company's money.

I love my job. I work fulltime for our shop and go to hvac classes at night. I enjoy the work though we are slow right now and I wish I was learning more.

My grandfather started the company I work for and gave me my first a/c lugging around tools when I was 15. My father owns it now, and I work form him until it's my go at running it.

I do wish the pay was better as I'm sure most do but I enjoy what I do.

I like the service end of if. I like trouble shooting , especially the electrical end. I do however hate bosses that dont appreciate their workers and it seems there are more and more that way. Would I rather be back in electronics? Sure! But since I am not .... well then... need to make the most of it.
