"Do you want fries with that"
My favorite description for jobs not requiring much education or power of reasoning.
Have a sign ready and put it out when you leave home, because there will be a new crew next time!!

Contract quote made by the ignorant, not even bothering to inspect the job. Work performed by the micro-managed, with no room given to adapt to actual job conditions. All wrapped up in nice, rigid instructions.

As I get older, I have come to the conclusion that I should no longer ask that question. I have thought I seen maximum stupidity but then someone comes along and tops the last stupid thing I saw or heard about.

Ironically, last night I watered & fertilized to send a picture to family up North who're in full on fall mode planting mums. Well I came home to find the landscapers decided to basically destroy the flower bed. Not rip everything up & rake it clean, just destroy it.
