    Hurricane duct

My latest creation during hurricane down time. It's for a slim duct mini air handler in a basement remodel.

Of course it will. I'm going to put balancing dampers in each branch just in case though.

It's one 6x10 and two 6x12 that will go to hart and Cooley 821 diffusers. I have to extend the right 20" the left 25" and the middle 12" with straight pieces of rectangle duct I haven't made yet. 300cfm

it'll be fine. if you even question how it works you'll be branded a racist and a bigot.

    Yeah... agree...

I learned metal, working on aircraft... Aluminum aircraft bodywork is a bit different than tin-bending to make ductwork.
I have fab'ed a few fittings when I needed them (and the local shop did not have them)... the most complex was an 8x18 elbow that transitioned into a rectangle to round... all one part... the elbow was 'flat'... meaning the turn was on the 8" side, not the 18" side.
And besides... I do not have a sheet metal shop...

    Nice work JT!
