R1234ze
Has anyone got much experience on Chiller with R1234ze?
Its an A2L so I'll need new recovery units, vac pumps etc.
Whats the low down with repairing/brazing a leak on a chiller with R1234ze?

Check manufacturer information, your equipment might already be compatible.

Naval has a similar document. I don’t think you’d need a new vacuum pump since there wouldn’t be much refrigerant when your pulling a vacuum. JB does sell a spark proof vacuum pump though.
Appion states that their vacuum pump works with A2L refrigerants because of the cooling fans. They prevent accumulation of refrigerant.
I imagine ventilation would be what’s most important when working with these refrigerant.
Just a few thoughts.
