I am on a list, was number 80... one year later, I am at 75. More than 5 people have cycled through the program.

Best of luck, and have a Plan B.

I'm not really concerned with any other variables except the ones I can control.

I studied my butt off for the test and was honest and true during my interview process.

I did all I could and I landed at #5 on the list with a group of guys scheduled to come in early April.

The director said he expects anywhere from 20-22 people to get accepted.

This is where I stand and I've done all I could to this point.

    So I won't worry.

I plan on being great in this industry bro, union or not.

Maybe if somebody did a little less b****ing and a little more work they wouldn't be on an unemployment list at all. Just a thought

And being number 80 or 75... you're kidding yourself if you think you actually had a chance. Contractors usually call and ask for TOP apprentices.
    It's not an apprentice list

In reply to neophytes serendipity's P.M. to me:

I'd like to f**k myself.....but my wife would probably get jealous.

I can probably get you a job up here. You're more than welcome to come show me your skills.
I know times are tough and guys can get cut-throat....but I find it unbelievable that it is ALWAYS 100% everybody elses fault with you. Have a nice day.

Can you offer me any info on life as an apprentice in Cincinnati?

I've heard basically that I'll be assigned to a journeyman but that's it.

Can you fill in the blanks for me..........
