    Found your Geo Loop

This brick porch was not on the plans. The homeowner, acting as the general, did the excavation for the main line from the ground loop, and this is exactly how he wanted it. Of course the concrete contractor had no idea it was there and hammered re-bar right through it.

I think the formula for DYI is as stated:

A, cost of doing it correctly

B, cost of doing it cheaply.

C(A-B) savings from doing it cheaply.

D(A squared), cost of doing it right the second time because it doesn't work right.
Waddya mean don't thaw out the frig with a knive?

Had a situation like this with a deck installer out in Naperville Illinois, drilled his post hole thru our manifold, saw what he did, filled in the hole and moved his post over a foot.(of course he told no-one)We got lucky, found the break accoustically, the home owner had to take the deck contractor to court for compensation.(she did win).My parents live in Sutherlin, nice country out your way.
