    Who needs PVC glue...

... or reducers when you have foil tape?

Our company recently bought out a smaller one. I can't imagine why they went out of business. I went out to fix a leaky vent, this is what i found. First off no 2" x 2 1/2" reducers. They just shoved the 2" into the 2 1/2". Then I guess they must have kicked over their last can of glue and decided that foil tape would work just as well. I bet the installer slept just fine that night too.

The good news is we basically just bought their phone list/number. No liability or warranty. So it's job security for us.

yea, thats a great idea. ma'am we didn't install it, but we bought who did, thus we aren't going to warranty thier stupidity.

customer says, OH, well i won't be calling you again. may as well pay someone else to do it, if i have to pay for it. you prolly are as bad as the guys you bought....

at least that's the response that you would get around here

My point is. Some guys would. \

I worked for that company and we tried the best we could to avoid this stuff. Too many crack-heads residing in this trade.
