    Found this friday
    On a MANITOWOC ice machine.
    Our company got called after another contractor.
    Yeah thats a HPR valve put in place of txv.

    It was not producing ice.
    The coustomer said it made a few pieces the day they repaired it.
    When i got there the refrigerant had all leaked out.
    The brazing on suction side has a leak and low side shrader valve core leaks.
    The error log on Indigo controller showed repeatedly High pressure cut out
    Faults.
    I'm not sure what the original problem was ,i am assuming it was low on charge due to shrader valve core leak.
    I'm going back Monday with a new txv .
    BAKER supply had to order.
    Once i get new txv installed and replace shrader cores I will see what i get.
    I will repost what results are.

    Lol, nice find. Maybe the parts house screwed up, and the tech they sent was too green to know it was the wrong part.
    The remote condenser machines do use an hpr valve.
