Clear example of an experienced tech making the diagnosis and sending a greenhorn out to make the repair.

    It was not producing ice.
The coustomer said it made a few pieces the day they repaired it.
When i got there the refrigerant had all leaked out.
The brazing on suction side has a leak and low side shrader valve core leaks.
The error log on Indigo controller showed repeatedly High pressure cut out
    Faults.
I'm not sure what the original problem was ,i am assuming it was low on charge due to shrader valve core leak.
I'm going back Monday with a new txv .
    BAKER supply had to order.
Once i get new txv installed and replace shrader cores I will see what i get.
I will repost what results are.

Lol, nice find. Maybe the parts house screwed up, and the tech they sent was too green to know it was the wrong part.
The remote condenser machines do use an hpr valve.

    Return trip
    I installed new Txv.
Found machine would not harvest, and the fan cycling switch would not cycle fan on.
So i got a new harvest valve and fan switch and installed those components.
Now machine is performing to design specifications.

I am not sure it is the right valve to use in this application but it looks like an automatic expansion valve (AEV). It doesn't control superheat just downstream (evaporator) pressure. Sporlan ADRI
