I clean installations up using weathertight j-boxes, bushings, and flex conduit. anywhere there is any possibility of a junction coming in contact with water, dialectric-filled connectors. The fewer the connections, the better, but at entries, it is good to have a box and serviceable connection in an enclosure.

The connectors are crazy expensive. I run 14-3 UF on all my mini installs and put it in FNMC to protect from physical damage on any exposed length on the exterior.

    Bridgeport cat. no. 895-DC2 = 90 connector - ⅜" trade size / " ko
    Bridgeport cat. no. 596-DC2 = straight connector - " trade size / " ko

Zinc Die Cast with Insulated Throat:
    Bridgeport cat. no. 595-DCI2 = straight connector - ⅜" trade size / " ko
    Bridgeport cat. no. 895-DCI2 = 90 connector - ⅜" trade size / " ko
    Bridgeport cat. no. 596-DCI2 = straight connector - " trade size / " ko

Polyolefin Coated / Direct Burial / Harsh Environment:
    Bridgeport cat. no. 595-DC2C = straight connector - ⅜" trade size / " ko
    Bridgeport cat. no. 895-DC2C = 90 connector - ⅜" trade size / " ko
    Bridgeport cat. no. 596-DC2C = straight connector - " trade size / " ko
