Due to the cost of replacement cartridges for the Trane Perfect Fit, I intend to steer clear. Instead, I am opting for the Honeywell F100 (Merv 11) or F200 (Merv 13). Both Honeywell's are less expensive and filter better than the standard PerfectFit Merv 8 filter. The dimensions of the S9V2B080D4PSAA are 34 x 17-1/2 x 28–3/4. The dimensions for the Honeywell F200 or F100 (same rack) are 25-7/16 x 16-3/16 x 6-3/4. Should I have any concerns? Or, it matches up close enough? Can anyone give a convincing perspective why I should consider the Trane Perfect Fit vs. the Honeywell F100 or F200?
