Looking for a few little items and things I should get ( TOOLS WISE)

I am a HVAC/R student in FL, and I guess it is a NCCER program(whatever that is). I have some tools in the garage and I bought some when they were on sale at techtool and Home Depot. Here is what I have so far. Is it decent for someone in school? I am unsure if I need more because I am going to try to get into building automatons and controls.

    7/16
    11/32
    5/16
    3/8
    3/16

    1/4
    2 sets of wire strippers
    Klein 11 in 1 screwdriver
    600,601,609,and Kleins terminal screw driver
    torpedo level
    2 crescent wrenches
    A Milwaulkee Pliers set

What pecmsg said especially you know nothing part I’m still there after 20yrs or better. To answer your question a set of analog gauges and a accurate thermometer get them used on sale be in no hurry. With that list you can troubleshoot that will make you smart. A epileptic monkey with Parkinson’s can take bolts out jk.

Before you dump serious cash on tools, why don't you give the trade a trial run. I've seen a number guys quit within the first year because it wasn't what they were expecting.

For tools if you look on Amazon you can find Amazon Warehouse Deals. It will be discounted items that cant ve sope for full price because of cosmetic issues or the package is damaged. I just bought the set of Klien hollow shaft magnetic nut drivers for 49 bucks when they are regularly 69 because the package was messed up.

You are off to a good start. Knowledge is good but you still need tools to work on things.

That's basically what I keep in my service bag minus an inspection mirror, and magnetic pickup tool for the screws I drop all the damn time. Seriously buy a magnet for picking up screws before you need one.
