    Fieldpiece Joblink Wireless Tools

    Hello

I'm Interested In Getting The Fieldpiece Joblink Wireless Setup. I Have The Wireless SDP2 Psychrometer And I'm Looking To Get The SMAN440 Gauges And I Have The STA2 Anemometer Is There Anything Else I'm Missing?

    Thanks!

My experience has been that the JL2 wireless is way more trouble than it's worth. I never could manage to keep both the sman 460 and SPD2 connected at the same time. The range is pitiful. Plus, as Gunslinger says, $200 more for the JL2 wireless transmitter/paperweight. I'm not aware that the STA2 is wireless.

But if you really want to go with fieldpiece wireless, you might check out the Joblink system probes, which you can get for about the price of the sman460. I hear the bluetooth range is great. But I've also heard that there are caveats. I would search the forums for threads, and also google for reviews.

I recently bought this set, and like it very much. Says it has about a 350 foot range, but I haven't used it nearly that far yet. Cost was a little over 500 bucks for the air sensors, clamp ons, and gauges.

Hey cw. I've considered picking up a set. Hard to go wrong for that price. What's that your avatar is is holding? Monkey? Pygmy? Family pet?

just bought the set last week for $380.80. Ebay had a 20% off sale. I have not played with it yet but it looks promising.

I was going to tell vin to hold off. Ebay has been doing 20% off anything coupon codes lately. About one a month. I try to post them here when they pop up.

Yeah, final price for the full set is about $380.

Thanks for the thought, Brian. I have all the time in the world. I generally use my AK's or iConnect. Just thought the FPs might be handy if they're recommended.

I haven't even logged onto Ebay in more than 10 yrs. I'll probably have to create a new account.
