    Trane on coffin box

    This was a full reduct and relocation of A\H. Turned out pretty clean

    Nice, looks like someone spent some dough there. +1 for insulating the drain line, even though it seems to be just a garage.

    Yea it was a expensive job. With all new duct work, but in Florida you have to insulate the drain line if it’s not in a conditioned space or it will condinsate constantly

    nice i didnt know they made those boxes its sitting on, are they prefab or custom? where do you order them from, seems easier than building a wood frame and the like..

    They are prefabricated, and they sell them at most all the supply houses her in Florida

    Thank you! I like to filter at the grills that way the coffin box and all the return ducts don’t get all nasty with dog hair and all the other gross crap the return sucks up. I usually put one man return in the ceiling, and one in each bedroom. All up high in the ceiling

    I dunno, I think I'd have put the lineset over on the other side, away from all the door traffic.

    I like the stand it sits on. I fab up similar ones all the time. I've never seen one for sale. Often use bolts for the legs so I can level it.
