    What is the bypass loop on the water heater? A thermostatic tempering valve?

    Yes, it’s a thermostatic mixing valve. There are required in many cities here in Southwestern Ontario

    I see it they wont let us use that flex copper pipeing whare iam and the shut off even though youres is on the wall has to have one at the unit as well.
