    Exclamation Carel easy cool troubleshoot

    Hello all,

Cold room Heatcraft "all in one type unit" ( condensing and evap in same casing). Carel digital controller is acting funny. Controller parameters are all setup properly. Evap is freezing up and temp is way too low because the unit is getting stuck in some sort of continuous cycle... Changed the probe and watched unit cycle 3 times properly all times cutting out at the desired set point. Next day unit does it again. Firstly WTF Secondly has this occurred to others? Thirdly should I insulate the bulb or change its default location?

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

Honest I'm pretty good with that control. I like this unit and often push them as space savers for restaurants that are lacking real estate in their cold rooms... It's not the setup I'm close to 100% sure... I appreciate the digital manual however. I have used the paper one multiple times lol. This is much better

I've had no issues with that control. As long as the display works the control worked.

Contactor sticking on? Box leaking hot air onto the sensor? Product stacked too close after you leave?

Exactly, poor air flow with these systems. always short cycling the air!

I agree 100% never had any issues. Matter fact this unit is sitting near two of his siblings who have been running well since day one.

I love that one. Product to close could do it because every time I've arrived the room was empty an the stock relocated... You might be on to something.
