    I think you may be right (PoE absolutely), but Delta needs to get a webserver on their devices if they haven't finished it already.

    You got "Field-bus Integration", "Serial-bus Integration" - kind of Integration 101 action. But things get interesting when you use a JACE and do "BACnet Integration" or, less commonly, "LonWorks Integration".

    Using a specific BACnet Tool and the "Export Table" feature (speaking Tridium), after mapping the points of an existing BAS system (eg, HON, Distech, JCI, Siemens, etc), you can literally get the JACE to be the 'eyes' & the 'brake and gas pedal - control that BAS system and much as you want via code in the local JACE or up in the cloud at the AX Supervisor (depending how much IT risk you're will to take).

    It's a matter of whose 'firehose' you're going to suck on & taking the time to learn it and do it - so much material to master...
