    I have yet to see a Siemens breaker that wouldn't trip even if locked on. Either way lock that bad boy into the on position just makes it difficult to reset. Will still trip provided the breaker is not defective.

    The 2nd is there to protect the 1st. DTOM

    i have and they dont allow us to use braker locks any more in my area.
    you can lock the panel door but not the breakers them selves
