...and if for whatever reason the ice doesn’t fall in time it just makes another batch on top of the old one.

I sold a couple the first year they came out but since then I haven’t sold a single one. Well maybe 1 or 2. People can get em as cheap as I can now. Maybe cheaper. But those machines are very good. I haven’t had a single service call on one yet.

I had a Manitowoc recert training yesterday. One of the local supply houses sponsored it. After the class I got the Mani trainer by himself and I brought up your specific question Mike19. He said that’s not possible. They flat out refuse to allow the big dealers and distributors to sell them. When I said a quick google search will show different he said they sell them online for 50% more than I should. I wasn’t going to change his mind and he had to protect his brand but the fact is they sold out.

In reality, I haven't had to go back to the one ice machine I replaced the compressor on. (The compressor that wasn't the problem).

I was, however, a little annoyed that tech support seemed to be consulting me near the end of the saga than the other way around.

It was, however, admitted to me that "These ice machines have been a problem child"
