    lay off, is still considered a termination in the eye of the law.
    Maybe in your area, not all areas. Around here many trades have layofffs, but the person is not terminated, and must report bad to work when the company calls them back.

    Well for a brief update my boss hasn't come to pick up my truck and phone as of yet and its been a few days. Its also supposed to be in the high 70s and low 80s here in NJ on Friday... Maybe he is hesitant??

    2 warm days in a row. could get new installs sold quickly. So that you could be needed in a week.

    Could be, generally they want your truck back asap... Maybe good things to come, will be warm in the NE this weekend, when the email came out from job asking for extra guys, I volunteered, gotta capitalize!
