    If there were more QR codes or QR codes that didn't erode.....I would use it. As it stands right now, I don't even think about it.

    That's a good point. Harsh environments tend to degrade QR codes on products.

    ever since Apple added a built-in QR code reader in iOS 11, I am using them more and more, and really wish every piece of equipment I installed and worked with had them.
