    Education

It is getting close to that time when the weather warms and business slows. I am looking to further my education in the gas fireplace industry. Someone on this board mentioned new education direction, but I do not remember who or what it was. I think it may have been Hearthman, but I am not sure.

Please chime in with any manufacturers or others that offer classes.

Seriously, the thing that helped me the most was taking AP Physics in high school and then Physics 201 in College. All my other techs don't really seem to *know* what they are doing. They just do it because they know thats what they are supposed to do. They have troublshooting skills memorized but don't actually understand it.
