    3) no visible fasteners between single wall and b-vent elbow (glossing over the fact that they used an elbow as an extension piece coming off the inducer)
    4) no support for the vent (except for the circulator)
    5) serviceability of the circulator
    6) serviceability of the expansion tank
    7) flex gas pipe creates a trap,
    8) I may be wrong, but i dont think that yellow wire is supposed to be used, it should be BX or MC
    9) exposed wiring in a junction box
    10) unsecured junction box
    11) unsecured switch
    12) may not be code here but shouldn't that switch be red and say gas unit emergency shutoff?
    13) also may not be code here, but there should be an electrical fusible link?
    14) leaking hi-vent
    15) shouldn't that stub nipple next to the circ have a hi-vent instead of a cap
    16) no downpipe on the relief valve
    17) that gas pipe seems to have been reduced quite a lot.
    18) zip tie bandit was here, stole all the ties out of the unit and left the wires a mess
    19) nothing seems to be level or plumb, and they must have gotten paid by the fitting
    20) looks like every fitting has leaked at least once
Bonus points: 1 single piece of armaflex on the valve, and it looks like it was the wrong size to begin with.

thats all i can spot. let me know if i missed any
The "F" on the blue crown boiler panel in the left of the photos should be moved to the front panel of this unit.....

Actually, it's pipe correctly. Believe it or not.

That pump is designed to be on the outlet of the boiler, and it's pumping away.

I mean, the rest is horrible, but just an FYI, that's where they put the pump.
"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."

"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."

    "Just get it done son."

Flex pipe into the boiler. Should be hard pipe through the boiler jacket. If it's got an induced draft motor, you can pitch the vent down... in certain applications.
