Another thing to think about is highlighted by this quote: “Data to this century is what electricity was in the previous generations,” said Nalamasu. “Today, [we generate] something like 230 million tweets per day, 300 billion emails are sent per day, and about a hundred terabytes of data are loaded on Facebook every day. This pales in comparison to what is going to happen in the next five years. The data rate growth is about 80 percent.”

This is where we at North Park are headed. It costs quite a bit of money to maintain a team to carry this out and that's why there needs to be some financial model to pay for it all. The day's of instruments with no connectivity to a data base are ending.

That's very strange. Do you want to give us a call and we can understand what the issue is? 716 699 2031.

Most of that is all crap and spam and yes it's astonishing. Nothing anyone I know would pay for.
Would you pay to use FB or Twitter? As a individual not as someone trying to sell something to a captive audience.
Young people wouldn't even think twice about using FB or Twitter.

As far as the data logging app I have it set up now. If you have multiple evaporators chosen there is no choice to use one pressure measurement for all evaporators. As it is now you have to choose one pressure measurement to map to one evaporator only. Maybe it's a simple fix IDK

You are correct. We received input regarding this issue and should have it available in a day or two.

Are you saying there’s going to be a point where our $1500 refrigerant gauges will be useless because your company needs to make money? I hope I’m not reading you correctly.
I understand that your team is moving in the data streaming direction, and that’s great, but I would hope we will continue to have the use of the iConnect as it works today for years to come.

Then again, I guess my new iPad will have a day when updates are no longer available. I guess those of us who want the system as it works today would just keep an old tablet and just discontinue updates on the app? Who knows maybe I’ll use the data stream options someday, but I don’t see it today.
BTW I still like my iConnect...

Of course updates will always be part of an app. I was simply illustrating where the industry and everything else is heading. My point is there is and will be great value in data for the technician and business owner.

Ok, we just pushed the update that will allow you to use one pressure for multiple evaporators. Its available on Android now and soon on Apple and Windows.

    Thanks
Any plans for a Refrigeration version still?
This is getting close with the custom mapping. Would still like to see more custom maps and have multiple box temps where this version shares air measurements for all evaporators in the circuit.

Yes we are. Should have something for refrigeration soon. It will be based on the data logging app architecture.

As a rack refrigeration tech I am very interested in your technology but have yet to try your equipment due to its HVAC focus. The ability to measure multiple temps, ref pressures and oil pressures and map them as needed is exactly what it would take to push me to purchase. Do you have multi-circuit refrigeration in mind for future expansion/updates? Thanks
