sales compensation
First, have set pricing for equipment. A simple accessory sheet with add on prices for duct modifications and IAQ products makes it really simple.
Then 5% of gross sale if they perform other duties and recieve a small salary.
8% of gross sale if they want straight commission.

If they are worth 10% then fine. But you better have your pricing set up for that.
Good luck staying "competitive".

Crap is so bad here you could offer 25% and you won't get any takers cause nobody is buying.
10% was just a sarcastic jab at the economic climate.
