How come there are no isolation valves on the small filter drier on the side of the compressor
My customer wants it changed yearly
Has anyone added valves to these for convenience don't want to affect oil flow

It's a strainer once every 5 years or when machine is open for service. I have never had one plug up.

Why does the customer request a yearly change of the strainer ? Did they have a tube failure and flood the machine ? It is a high pressure machine . As far as isolation valves - a gauge port would need to be added to evacuate , just another potential leak source. Plus another valve someone would forget to open during maintenance . I have added valves when there was a need .
