Ruud Lennox Compatibility
Great Sight!
I am a homeowner (non HVAC guy) in Texas and have been fighting with my Lennox natural gas heater for some time. I have had a tech out twice and he finally recommended a new unit (the pilot igniter is intermittant and the gas never comes on).
I have a friend (this is usually the beginning of a bad story...) who just replaced his HVAC -propane furnace and compressor that was only 2 years old due to a large addition on his home. He heard I was experiencing problems with my furnace and offered to give me his Ruud furnace. I don't want to go to the trouble of picking his unit up is this is something that won't work with the Lennox compressor or will cost me more money than a new unit.
I will contact our local HVAC guy to do the install when he is back in town. But I would like to know if this is something that is possible.
Thanks!

If its the right size.
Your contractor just needs to convert it back to natural.
And some adaptation to your existing coil.
Keep in mind. That you have no warranty on it though.
